The love of filmmaking has always been the driving force behind Simonne’s creative journey. She began working with film photography, and her fascination with the process eventually led her to print in a darkroom. This became a turning point in her creative evolution. Printing her work in the darkroom was more than just a technical skill—it was a gateway to a new world of creativity. It became her space to experiment and push boundaries.

In this environment, she began merging the physical with the dreamlike. Surreal, otherworldly images that once felt like fragments of fantasy can now take shape in the material world, blurring the line between what she sees with her eyes and what she carries in her mind.
